Wow, Goose, those two are closer than I would have thought. I have a heritage fawn Fed IV Dlx and seeing them side by side, I think I made the right choice between the two of them. Looks like the HF is a little more brown. -
What cigar (or pipe) did you smoke today?
RP Spring Collection robusto with pineapple rum and OJ over ice. I found a bottle of pineapple rum unopened and pushed to the back of the cabinet. We bought it the first time we went to the Bahamas ten or eleven years ago. Tasty and refreshing....the heat and humidity have arrived. :(- BobC

Thanks all of you, JT, Mrs. Carey, Gene and Scott. Rusty really made a world of difference in the look of this hat. I wasn't all that crazy about it before Rusty's conversion, but now I like it a lot. Heck, I don't know what he did to it, but it even fits better. Thank you, Rusty! -

Haven't been YET. lol I'm a bit afraid to go. I'm likely to find multiple hats there I can't live without, and at Optimo prices, multiple is a bit unrealistic. We thought about going up over summer, but I think fall will work better. If (when) I buy a lid there I'll be wanting to wear it out of... -

Yes to both of those. I can feel the resistance when I open the lid and I did the dollar bill in the lid test. It does seem to be sealing. I have also wiped it down with distilled water several times and then put a small bowl of water in it. I've been trying to keep the humidity at 70 - 72%...- BobC

I received a new humidor last week and am having trouble getting it seasoned properly. The humidity doesn't want to stabilize. Anybody got any ideas about how to keep the moisture level consistent?- BobC

My green Borso is at Optimo too and I got a sweat in the mail today. I tried to talk them into keeping the original sweat in the hat, but they insisted it needed to be replaced. Truth is, it probably did. When it gets back I'll be sure to post a pic of it over my bald spot. lol Those Borso's... -

Nice hat! What can I say, it's a Campdraft. Kim's sitting next to me...she's jealous cause you ate at Cracker Barrell. It's one of her favorites with all that crafty stuff they sell. -
What Did You Drink Last Night?
I ran across a liter of pineapple rum we bought ten or eleven years ago in the Bahamas that had migrated unopened to the back of the liquor cabinet. I mixed some with OJ last night. Quite tasty stuff.- BobC
