During my vacation last week, I got to do some unexpected antiquing in Montana. Here are a few of the things I found, and I'll take pics of the rest soon. Things are so cheap out there!
2 bakelite bangles, $15! This place also had lots of other little bakelite bangles for $12 each...
I have tried wide, shaping garter belts that have this same shape across the rear and the problem is that, even with a slip, they leave a nice line across your rear if you're wearing a very slim skirt.
If the bra isn't sheer, you might want pads to fill out the extra room in the tips of the cups. From what I've seen bullet bras rarely fit gals with smaller cup sizes who don't have a lot of flesh to fill out the tips. I ordered this bra awhile back and sadly had to return it. I've tried a lot...
Just picked up this little pair of shoes on Ebay. Nothing special, but very cheap and I really need a pair of white shoes to wear with several of my dresses!
I caught the beginning of this on On Point on NPR last week and thought that it was something that would interest a large number of you.

There are many recommendations in this thread for various non-seamed stockings. I personally prefer Hanes Silk Reflections and they aren't that expensive, at around $15 for 2 pair. You can get them at http://www.onehanesplace.com/product/3053.html for $10 for 2 pair. I get them at Macy's.

Vintage leather purse, date unknown (likely late 60s or 70s). Measures 10" across at top, approx 7" high and 3" deep. Very good condition, just needs a little bit of cleanup. FREE! You pay shipping + $1 if you're using Paypal...
So 10 pages ago, I started this thread and I've still never posted in it. I was hoping to post some before/after-set pics because my blond/black hair color made it really easy to see the layers in my hair and how those layers looked when set.
But it's too late now! Too much damage from years of...
I really like this reversible black/pink slip. It went for $2.25. I'm not sure why I didn't bid :-(
Also, I'm so in love with this dress it's not even funny. Absolutely everything about it....
Herradura. But seriously, you can probably take any of the recommendations given in this thread - as a whole, Loungers tend to have pretty good taste, so you won't find any terrible recommendations here :-)
Bruce, no one else has inquired about it yet, so I would be happy to hold it for you and take a photo. I should be able to do that later this evening. For reference, the purse is pretty much the size of a real Chinese food takeout container.
I adore this skirt, the style and the colors. This is probably my favorite style of 50s skirt. I have one similar and the fabric next to the seam down the rear is starting to pull. Only went for $10, but alas I am not in the market for clothes can only hope to fit into in the future!
