It's not the recoverable cost of the siphon itself that has affected my decision. The problem for me is that I will literally go through a 2L of soda water in 2 days or less when I have it. I pay roughly $0.40 per Liter at the grocery store, and from what I've seen, a 10 pack of chargers, which...
I think it's too hard to tell. Would you be able to tell the difference between something in style in 1999 and something in style in 2001? Probably not. I have dresses with sleeves like that that no one here has been able to date any further than late 40s/early 50s.
Glad to hear you got your problem resolved!
I ended up not getting one. I did the math and realized that it would cost me a lot more money to buy the charger refills than it would to just buy $0.79 2L bottles of seltzer at the grocery store. Someday if I live in a place that allows me to...
You could turn some of your Coty loose powder into pressed powder in an empty compact.
Or you could buy one of those brushes that stores loose powder inside - http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P205302&categoryId=S4600&shouldPaginate=true
Are there any bike or jogging paths around where you are? Other options include outdoor hocky rinks and basketball courts. Maybe look to see if there are any roller rinks around, because those are the easiest and safest places to skate. If there are, they should offer at least a few open skates...
The points about burning the fat are very important, and the point about muscle burning more calories is also important, so doing the 2 in tandem might be good for you.
For that particular area... and something that's VERY vintage... I recommend roller skating. Inline skating burns up to 600...

I'm so glad that clothesline weather is back up here! I'm sick of going to the laundromat, and while I hate the lint that clothesline drying leaves, I can deal with it for the cost and energy savings of not using a dryer, and the time savings of not going to the laundromat.
I have a neat...
I never did get to try the Biz. Those 2 dresses have been sitting over a chair in my kitchen for like a year waiting to be salvaged. I just don't have the patience I don't think.
Lauren, I ruined 2 vintage dresses awhile back by soaking them in Oxyclean together. Somewhere here, there is a thread I started here about removing dye, but for the life of me, I can't find it.
EDIT: found it! It's not about removing dye, per se, but about vintage stuff that you've ruined...
I've tried witch hazel before and didn't like it. I found it far too drying for my skin. Now that my skin is oilier than it was before, perhaps I'll give it another go.
Blistex Complete Moisture
I am a chapstick ADDICT. I must have it on me at all times. I have tried a LOT of chapsticks and this one is a huge surge of moisture. It's just about the only one I've tried that does not leave me feeling like I need more minutes after I put it on. I like the very...
