Just finished Hellfire: The Jerry Lee Lewis Story by Nick Tosches. It's pretty amazing and wonderfully written.
Currently reading And The Ass Saw The Angel, a piece of fiction by Nick Cave. Not sure yet how I feel about it, but I do find the writing style tedious.
Also reading The...
You'll get more flavor, but really what you'll get is a mix of vodka and juice, not really "infused" vodka. I consider an infusion to have a hint of flavor, not the kind of flavor you'd get from that much juice. Also, if you use whole fruit, you can save it to use as garnishes.
Regardless...
Technically they don't. The infusions made by the Fire and Ice restaurants here in Boston just use vodka and the fruit.
I have a friend who has made many of the strangest infusions he can find - Kentucky Fried Chicken, bacon, pumpkin (this one was ok), ginger (quite good). I always urged him...
Caroline, I agree. I think tequila has gotten a rather bad reputation. I know I looked down on it for many years, until seeing that there are places where cultured people sip tequila like one would sip a fine Scotch here, and that it's not just for drunken frat boys looking for a way under the...

I'm not really a tequila drinker and have seen Cuervo send many a friend under the table.
The only type I have ever tried and been able to tolerate was Don Julio, with the occasional exception of a cocktail called a Periodista (tequila, lime, apricot brandy...). I've never even been a...
Thanks for the info, guys. My dad is extremely curious about this pistol!
Also, thanks for the info on the ammo. My dad's been looking and I told him I'd inquire with some awesome gun nerds :-)
These are not mine! I saw this yesterday in a museum in Guanajuato, Mexico. It dates from sometime during the 19th century. My dad is curious what type of action that is - it looks rather complicated and he's interested in any information that anyone might have. This pistol was displayed next...
You could always look for a vintage 50s schoolboy bag. They are usually leather and are relatively easy to find on Ebay. It's a classic look and they're really nice and sturdy. I bought my ex one one year for Christmas.
I love all of them, but alas, not my size!
By the way, that blouse is made of a type of fabric called shagbark. I own a dress made of that and it's really fun and different!
Definitely, and she has the class to really pull off the look - not like many other hollywood starlets who would wear it in a way that managed to look trendy or trashy.
I do like my handbag and shoes to match, belt maybe, unless the dress has a self-fabric belt.
I don't care so much about my undergarments, but do like them all the same color.
This is the recipe I tried, with semi-sweet chocolate, but without the caramel topping and I used cognac (and lots of it) instead of flavored syrup. I also added some cinnamon. It was a big hit!
Thanks for the tips everyone.
I have. When I called one of their stores, the gal I spoke with was very helpful. However, I did not receive a tracking number. They did ship quickly, but I have to return to exchange for a different size and there was no return info shipped with my items, so now I have to call again to figure...
