    What are you wearing today??

I absolutely love this look! You look casual and yet completely put together. Must get some of those overalls. Who makes them again? ;)

    Mizrahi leaving Target for Claiborne

Yeah, all you have to do is look at the Liz line to know he's got his work cut out for him. What I want to know is - what do the pieces look like? Have they even come out yet?

Target rules! Or...the annual repro clothing bonanza

Yet another reason to love your local Target.... I was there yesterday returning that green plaid dress everyone seems to have gotten there (the constant problem I have is too small bust and too big waist). Cruising the toiletries aisles, I saw: Weleda! Clarins!! KIEHL'S!!! The Weleda items...

    Mizrahi leaving Target for Claiborne

Has anyone noticed Liz Claiborne clothes looking better these days? Didn't Tim Gunn start working for Liz Claiborne too, or am I way off?

Armani turns back to 1930s for home collection

Actually, looking at the catalog, theres'a lot to love. Look at those "table accessories"!

Armani turns back to 1930s for home collection

I tend to like more mid-century modern stuff myself (it's what got me into vintage in the first place), so I think the stuff is pretty, but a bit too trendy-hotel-lobby looking for me. But I am definitely gonna run out and get "G. A." end tables asap! lol

This thread is very timely for me. My finals start next week. I'm having a hard time studying. I shall set small goals for myself!

Veronica Lake -The Woman Who Smiled Little

Have you ever had some random guy on the street tell you to smile? I hate that. I'm walking along doing my errands and I'm supposed to have a big grin on my face? Stay out of it, stranger. lol

    Do you "pay it forward"?

I had a free box in front of my house AND I GOT A TICKET FOR IT. I'm pretty sure my drunken, violent upstairs neighbor called the cops to spite me, because when I moved it into my (deeded) driveway, they gave me another ticket. On my own property! I never!

    'gaudy' eBay Photos?

    'gaudy' eBay Photos?

Agree. I am, however, offended by some old lady in a black thong bending over in a sheer slip. EEK!

    Do you "pay it forward"?

I've recently discovered Freecycle, and I love it! I've gotten a quilt and three boxes of cereal (unopened, lol), and am always on the lookout for vintage items and anything of interest. The spirit of Freecycle, for me at least, is that for every item I get for free, I post something on the...

Calling Cards (name cards, not phone cards)

:eusa_clap Love the French! Those dimensions are HUGE! Since these would be in a wallet, pocket, or purse, I'd probably adapt and make a calling card business-sized. I'm really thinking I might do this. :)

Repair & Care of old and other delicate fabrics

It's the underwire that's popping out, it's curved, naturally. I'll have to push it back in, put some of that rubber stuff on, and have it sewn. If I sew it myself it'll never hold.
