    1940s wardrobe essentials

I'm most obsessed with the overalls (one lady has nothing under them!) and the shoes of course. THANKS LD!

    Show us your hair do's....

Layers will really help you. Then you don't have to lose the overall length but the top layers will be shorter and lighter! Your hair looks GORGEOUS btw.

    So through with COOL!

It's not our generation, it's the nature of the English language. Don't believe me? I recommend reading "The Mother Tongue" by Bill Bryson. ;)

    So through with COOL!

He didn't mean "wicked" as in "very," he meant "wicked" as in "cool." As in, "That new PlayStation 3 is WICKED!" (or whatever it is the kids think is cool these days.) lol

Can't see it tho. NM, now I can. I'm not sure that's an accurate timeline.

    So through with COOL!

I am giving up neither COOL nor AWESOME. Awesome is my generation's word, and you can pry it from my cold, dead hands! lol However eradicating misused and misplaced "LIKEs" works fine for me.

    Your Signature Dish

Oh yes - I've just discovered the wonders of baking brownies from scratch. It never even occurred to me. Now that I've done it, I will never EVER go back to the mix. If you bake regularly you have all the ingredients anyway except maybe the unsweetened cocoa, and every store has that.

On giving your opinions of photographs showing fellow Loungers wearing their new hats

It happens in the PR too. It's a big love fest. I suppose it's better than the hate fest most other message board type sites seem to be. :)

I'd like to see a straight-on shot of Heidi Klum's dress. That side shot is the only one I've seen and I do not like it!

    Your Signature Dish

Right? Sooo yummy. And actually, really easy. Just buy the two ingredients. Slather both sides of the fillet in olive oil and wrap it in the prosciutto. Pop it in the oven at 375-400 for around 10 mins. And you're done!

Her makeup looks and looked fine to me, but I may have just been distracted by the crazy bodice and straps on her dress.

I thought Angelina looked great too, if a little safe. The emeralds saved her I think.

Beyonce has a great figure but this dress is in poor taste I think: Really? Marisa Tomei-nice job I want to love this, and I do love it from the back, but I'm not loving the front:

Since worthlesswithoutpics Heidi seems to be getting rave reviews but I don't love this look I liked this until Perez Hilton rightly pointed out that it's the Good Witch's costume in Wicked: This is too much boob and not enough interest for me:
