I wasn't really sure what was going on with that red mark on the front and the seller lists with basically no comments on the condition, so I wasn't gonna go there. Pretty tho.
I've never seen a vintage cherry brooch that looks similar to the above with rhinestones...EVER! And I've looked quite a lot! Weiss does have a rhinestone cherry brooch though. Have you come across it?
They also have raspberry/strawberry ones:
The only one of mine pictured above that is...
:offtopic: I wasn't aware that Steamboat Willie was the new logo. Hm, interesting. My understanding, though, is that if something has fallen into the public domain, it's open season. Maybe you won't be able to use the "new" logo exactly, but Steamboat Willi himself you could.
Though I...
If you look in the "30s wardrobe staples" thread, you'll see a lot of catalogs that show women in 30s dresses as they were meant to be worn. I think that they were meant to fit close to the body, not to be worn loose. I am not an expert however.
On the bright side, you can always just sell...
This is my entire collection...I had more but never wore them. The rose and the circle of rhinestones belonged to my paternal and maternal grandmothers. I have matching pieces to the circle and the one just to its left.

lol This thread is just so....
"AHA but did he consider THIS TYPE OF BOOT?! I suspect not! The wearers of THIS boot could CLEARLY best the bloogger in a DUEL!"
Great! I was drinking the French 75s (delicious) so didn't get to try the sig cocktail at Wit's End.
Another great thing about Raines: the noshes! Their signature popcorn is delicious, and we sampled some of the Belgian chocolates on offer. Yum! :essen:
Certainly not. But even once a week a feast like that would (and did) fatten up this girl. lol Additionally, that family once had that meal for lunch, then about 4 hours later the EXACT same thing for dinner. I didn't understand how they did it!
Generally for dinner no an average night it...
Milk & Honey has gone private, and since I don't live in Manhattan it isn't really worth it for me to buy a key (even if I could afford it).
However, I've found a suitable replacement: Raines Law Room. http://eater.com/archives/2009/02/glimpsing_newcomer_raines_law_room.php
Very nice...
