What thought have you given to the inside coat pockets? It is easy to have two breast pockets and a ticket pocket but you can choose what you need and where in the jacket.
I am researching a slightly later period for an English suit. I have had some considerable help here and other research suggests the following
There should only be one inside breast pocket in the jacket on the right. You could have a ticket pocket on the inside left - fairly high up though...
Both look good at a glance I will look more closely later.
Can you put pictures front and rear without the jacket please? A neglected view but it does show how the pants work for you.
Not British - two inside pockets would be unusual to say the least. This feature was not common until the 1960s - later rather than earlier for RTW.
The only exception might be a well travelled Briton.
This is a 'no win', if you put a wallet in either of the inside breast pockets in coat that is too tight it will make the problem much worse as well.
Back pockets may be (just) the lesser of the evils.
A very sensible and real theory.
Since tailoring went from an art to an industry activity where bulk and saving the last penny or even cent was the golden rule , the fewer variants/greater universality the better - for the bottom line.
A nice looking suit.
