Hard words but absolutely true- the masses don't usually seem to get it though. I had a heavy steer HWM and it gave me sore shoulders. Another type of anti-garment. B T- BellyTank

Hemingways striped fishing cap
Cotton "Ticking" is a workman-like, woven stripe cloth (sometimes herringbone twill)with more variations than Hickory stripe. The stripe following the shape of the cap's bill would require two different cloths to make one hat. I guess this is artistic license at work- sometimes you paint what... -
