The actual Cawnpore(Kanpur) style helmets are pretty thin in the ground,
especially in good condition and good sizes.
Ebay is probably your best bet.

I don't think they make any "good" hats- mostly wool, I believe
and a lot of prop type hats. Woolen Bowlers, etc.

I recently bought a NOS vintage German (civilian)Rucksack with a "DRP" stamped next to the company branding.
We remember... DRP is Deutches Reichspatent, as opposed to DBP,

No- as I pointed out- neither of mine, from RAU are anywhere near sand and neither were any WW2 ones.
Mine are SS and Luftwaffe- SS one is more Yellow and LW is more Tan.
There are many repros on the market but few are any good.
