Why did men quit wearing hats ???
I think there is a general disdain for having to carry anything extra, that goes from hats, overcoats..etc...to even briefcases now. On a side note I occaisionally see the same group of union workers on my way to work and there is one that wears a tophat everyday which I think is cool. -
Where to get hat ribbon?
Is there a place that sells the ribbon pre tied so i can just put it on the hat? I doubt I could ever get it to look right doing it myself. -
Snow in Central Texas
Crazy weather...we had snow come down here in Jersey on Thursday. One big black cloud with snow pouring out of it...moved through quick tho so no accumulation but one of the strangest things I've seen...looked like a mushroom cloud. -

Too Small?? Too big? Just right? or How to wear a hat!
My head measures 22 1/4 but I usually wear a 7 1/4 where based on that measurement I should be between a 7 and a 7 1/8. A size 7 would just sit on top of my head while a 7 1/8 is tight. Also I have Stetsons in both sizes that fit me really well yet some Stetsons in 7 1/8 are too tight. I'd say... -

I've done this several times with a local tailor and they did a great job. Just find a good tailor, one that actually makes clothing, and it shouldn't be a problem. I just think it feels strange to have a hat on indoors...gives me a wierd feeling. Unless I am at an indoor rodeo in a big arena for some reason that doesnt bother me. -
