Not a Norfolk in the slightest, sorry.

    Hong Kong Tailors

Apart from WW Chan, Gordon Yao at the Royal Graden Hotel on Mody Road is equally as good and kind words have been expressed about Y William Yu also on Mody Road. Having tried all three I would suggest Yao.

    London Tailors.

King and Allan are at the bottom of any pecking order - MTM (being a most accurate description of their offering) or bespoke.

Can You Help Me Date This?

Frock coat for morning/day wear. Striped trousers most usually. 1910-20

    Synthetic suits - Thoughts?

Burn it (or rather melt it) and buy yourself as decent a wool suit as you are prepared to fund. $200 is hardly very much.

    StudioSuits.com

It is NOT bespoke, and being made from plastics crap quality as well. I very much doubt that three or more fittings will be on the agenda.

If you want older...

If you like it, buy it if you must: I would not give it house room but there we are.

No, but why did you not bid?

How to remove bad odor from a suit

Take it back or burn it. Such a garment will never be truly clean and if its own er has so little pride then you should not want to be associated with it.

    Vest Question

It would have to be the exact same cloth by the same supplier in an identical suit. Not just a similar PoW.

    Suit Quality Assistance?

Seems to be rather odd to be stopped in the street and given a suit? Even more odd that it vaguely fits.

How high should 1930s-1940s era high-waisted pants be worn?

The first pair I had made followed a photo and were about 1/2" above the navel but for the second I found an elderly tailor and took his advice. That was that trousers should be a good 2" above the navel, certainly no less and probably more. He has made me two pairs, one at 2" and one at 2 3/4"...
