oh my gosh! that's very scary. but yeah, i don't use my old appliances too often for that reason. one of these days, though, i'd like to get them rewired or something so they can be used. still...i'll watch my toaster like a hawk. :o- zaika

i got this baby for a buck at a yard sale today. according to toaster.org (quite possibly one of the coolest websites ever), this model/serial number was manufactured between september 1945 and and september 1946. i haven't tried it yet to see if it works...but the folks who sold it said it...- zaika

last night i finally had a chance to do pin curls...it's been months. they turned out so well (for me) and i really think it was my new vanity. i could actually SEE what i was doing. lol i keep telling myself that i need to practice finger waves...but it's too scary yet. hehe -
