FS- CHP Motorcycle Jacket
Leather is very nice, not dried or cracked. Not sure how old, but I'd guess pre 1970, at least. I've never treated it. FS- CHP Motorcycle Jacket
Size 44, measures 24" across chest seam to seam. Fits me fine and I'm a 44 but no tags. Lining is torn along collar. Behind collar the seam is slightly seperated, see pics, doesnt seem to be an issue tho. Zippered pockets, one side missing a puller but both work. Not sure what hide, could be...- HDRnR

Sounds like an odd batch or something unique to Aero. But as far as stretching goes, goat will naturally stretch far more than horse. Ask someone who makes jackets in both hides. Edward, I have seen firms with no dress code, one of them is the one of the largest corporations in the world. I think they are good for a year out of the box, the Bee oil is a liquid while the Bee Plus is like a saddle soap. They recommend both but your probably fine with just the oil, although in a wet environment I could see how they would benefit from the Bee Plus. They recommend mink oil for storage.- HDRnR

You're probably right, I do mine once a year and any residual surface oil is gone by the time I do them again. I think its good to do it tho to keep the leather from drying out, the silicon leather could probably go longer without it but the oil tan seems to be almost like a naked leather and...- HDRnR

Sure but the last thing I want to do is wear wool clothing in a hot office for ten hours a day. Jimmer, nice boots. What do they recommend treating the brown leather with, Bee Oil ? I have black Wesco's and use the Bee Oil followed by the Bee Oil Plus. I wonder if the Bee oil would significantly darken the brown? I usually treat mine once a year before riding season, just did two pairs...- HDRnR

It just serves no purpose, I hate wearing ties also (something that really serves no purpose). I work in NYC, the summers are too hot and humid and in the winters you just can't dress warmly enough if you have to wear a suit jacket. When it rains, the rain comes down sideways so your pants below...- HDRnR
