Here's an interesting conundrum for the fish fans here. Do you purchase fresh fish if you have polluted water locally, or do you purchase flash frozen?
You could bring it back waaaay further than that. Man's anatomy is that of an herbivore. Religions have been veg*n since civilization's beginnings.
But yes, it did come into the public eye around that time. I just like to nitpick :)
It's because the majority of grain produced by America is used to feed our livestock. In fact, it takes four pounds of edible grain to make one pound of edible beef. If the world were vegan, we could healthily feed the population with relative ease.
I had a "microbrewed" bottle from Trader Joe's. It wasn't the best, wasn't bad, though. I only really end up there for Tofurkey. And their candy bars. Mint chocolate chip candy bars are divine.
If you're ever in PA, the root beer options are awesome. My Dad and I treat it like wine connoisseurs...
Oftentimes when people go vegan they focus too much on protein and end up fattening themselves up that way. Soy does wonders for the body, and it's used in meat products to ease the cholesterol and fat levels. I don't think that would cause it (though it certainly could have).

My best friend's mother is Ukrainian (her father is Russian, but she no longer lives with him).
I don't know if it's a Ukrainian or a Russian way of making tea, but she mixes a bunch of different flavors together I'm pretty sure. I've never had tea at their apartment that isn't a swirl of...

Why? Because it's a...
Jay, she's gorgeous (and that shirt ain't bad lookin' either)!
I don't collect 'em, but I do play 'em. Acoustic preferably. Give me folk or give me death!
Gentlemen, what's the word on the Grand-Prix Paris? Is this even a model? That's what one on the 'bay is listed as, and I couldn't find anything out about the model.
Also, it's in a Rogers Peet box. I don't know if that means anything.
I don't know if it's been brought up, but during the late 20's and the depression, many women dressed as men when they took to the rails. This allowed them to trainhop easier (and if you've never attempted, they are certainly a necessity), pass as men to get jobs and to avoid rape and theft.
I got a pair in the old punxxxxxx days. They were from a thrift store and well worn already, lasted me 3 years and then I gave them to a friend, and they've yet to crap out on him.
Good pair of shoes.
