Historically speaking, Boston has precedent for enforcing tobacco laws, back to the early days of its existence. Not that I agree with them, but still.
At the ripe age of 16, my comments on the devil's herb:
The weed folks are smoking today is nothing like it was even a few decades ago. The things you find it laced with are ridiculous. I know a few horror stories from personal acquaintances; one found theirs to contain embalming fluid or PCP...
I fully agree with them. Bastardizing thousands of animals solely in pursuit of aesthetics is ethically corrupt. We breed outside of our immediate family for a reason.
Fair enough, though in my defense I had figured a chart was easier to understand than archaic wordings.
And for the economics, I haven't even taken a 101 course, so you're a lot more than right there. I know it's covered only because one of my friends is a sociology nut, and he lends me texts...
You are correct. It's usually a recession. I said depressions and recessions with intent.
Not to sound cocky, but if you've taken an economics course or read a book on it, you'd have learned that. If not, suggesting otherwise without a marginal amount of research is silly. Look for yourself...
Oh she did and I am. We had a meeting with her, my Mom, an administrator and the gifted counselor. Her opening line was "...So, I've given up on you". Interesting way to start a two hour affair.
Danke for the kind words though.

Invest tons of money into opening businesses in third world countries that have been opened up by recent free trade expansions.
Sell to first world countries with currency worth more than the dollar at overly...
Yeah. Zoot suits, while having the distinction of being just as bad as modern fashion, were late 30's and early 40's attire. Not appropriate. Go formal overkill.
Your wife as a flapper is reasonable. Rich, white socialite and a high class man. Pretend she's half your age and you're Hugh Hefner...
Amen. I'm working up an article for the school newspaper about jury nullification addressed to those who are or are turning 18 and may be soon getting their first summons.
Indeed it was. And he held us both with equal contempt:
"An Englishman thinks he is moral when he is only uncomfortable."
"An asylum for the sane would be empty in America."
One of my favorite literary figures of all time.
South Street is the place to go in general. Has great thrift stores as well, though some are over priced.

Hats in the Belfry ain't worth it. There was some newer shop across from Garland of Letters with Stetsons and Dobbs(es?), but I can't remember the pricing.
Never heard of South Street...
