"Vintage" Illnesses aka "I'm Old Fashioned whines for a moment".
Just back from having 2 wisdom teeth removed--not a golden age experience but a medieval one! My dentist is such a geek--he was so excited that one of my teeth had three roots. Sears Fashion Book...A Must Have
That's one of my favorite books (they have them for the 20s, 30s, 50s and 60s too). I've always dreamed about working at Dover books--they've published half my library practically! What was the last TV show you watched?
The Emmys. I was rooting for Colbert and he was completely shut out (robbery!) but the bit where he and Jon Stewart gave Ricky Gervais' Emmy to Steve Carell made up for it--hysterical! Yes, this is one of the few movies I can think of where the men's costumes were more interesting than the women's. Naomi Watts had lovely outfits, to be sure, but she was pretty much the only woman in the film (who wasn't a nun!) so spotlight in this movie was on the men's outfits. I'd bet...- imoldfashioned
