What have you got in the way of good vintage boots?
Last year I had a pair made by west coast shoe company to be like the classic 40's-50's biker "engineer" boots. They're broken in now and look great. Can't wait to see what they look like in a few years.
I'll take a pic if anyone wants...
I'm a big supporter of leather... I love it, especially Horse. Nothing is better. Wear it in the rain, snow, sun... Like Paddy says.. gets better and better. Although I won't wear it to work on the car. Afaid of grease and oil!
Steer Hide is good too, Avoid Cow. Avoid sheepskin...
I just picked up a bottle of Burts Bees Bay Rum Colonge. It's really nice, unfortunatly they stopped making it but you can find it old stock or on ebay.
about 25 bucks and worth it.
I like Petty too. But Vargas was king. Oliva today is really a mix, I like 50% of her stuff. Sometimes its too much like those 80's Duran Duran type girls.
I see ladies watches all the time with corded bands. And they're really cheap compaired to a man's watch. Under $15.00 for sure.
They're all wind watches with a base metal but they're vintage and real.
You won't find them at the Goodwill, you must go to a non-organized thrift store.
I concur...

I have an idea for a series...
Recreate classic paperback book covers from the late 40's. Early Dells or Pocket books.
If you're interested I can find...
First off... Superly done... bravo. Beautiful pictures and a beautiful girl...
I am a big fan of pin-ups from the 30-50's. Vargas, Evegreen, Thompson...
And magazines from the 40's/early 50's like Titter, Flirt, Whisper...
I think to add to your pictures, and this is only a...
I don't think he pulls it off.
We're just used to him dressing weird. He's always done that. We expect him to be weird looking in dress.
If he dressed "normal" then we would be, "Did you see what he was wearing!"
i have a similar case by Tusting. It's just what I have been looking for, for quite a while.

I have the "sundance" one. and love it.
I have a pair of the bills M1 button fly. They're high waisted, and thick.
You can order them cuffed or non-cuffed. I went with the cuff and straight front.
You're best bet is to find an original pair if you can.
bills are pricy about 100.00 per pair. But a pair of dockers are...
