I didn't even think of that but it is, isn't it? (The hair that is, not me!). It looks completely different without a ton of stuff in it--which is fun. Thanks again for the photos.
Thanks so much! The hairstylist looked at Ruby's picture critically, then looked at me and said "have you had your hair that short before?" I'm sure she'd had women freak out when they actually took the plunge but I like it. It really is liberating--you don't have to do a thing to it.
I...
Aw, go on Paddy--you looked great then and now. Her dress is pitch perfect for the early 80's; she must have been a fashion plate.
I've got to dig out one of my senior pictures--I'll tie a string around my finger to remind me right now.
Sorry guys, I'm completely spamming this thread but your pictures are all too good!
This is like the quintesential prom picture; wrist corsages--gotta have 'em.
Oh, my Barbi--you look SO much like a girl I went to high school with (she was nice, by the way ;) ). That hairdo was what all the popular girls had too. My gigantic angora cowl necked sweater was light yellow--eek!
Beautiful wood color on those bookcases. I've always wanted to get some sectionals too--preferably the ones with the leaded glass that are so rare and dear. When I see them at antique shows I always ogle them.
:offtopic: Vile man Phelps--his behavior at the Shepherd funeral and too many others reminds me of a line from Hannah and Her Sisters: If Jesus came back and saw what's going on in his name, he'd never stop throwing up.
That's a stunner Shearer! So beautiful--thanks for sharing the pictures. I hope I get to see that one in person someday.
The action figure comment nearly made me do a spit take.
Sunny--thanks so much for going to the trouble to post the extra shots of your fabulous dress. It was great to see some of the construction details too. You look great.
