Good question. He was in a British miniseries about Charles II that I always wanted to see but I don’t know about heroism there. He was also in a “blink and you’ll miss him” role in the enjoyable cheesefest The Holiday. I googled him and he’s to play Alexander Hamilton in a biopic...
I loved The Illusionist--gorgeous sets and cinematography. I expected Edward Norton and Paul Giamatti to be good but Jessica Biel was a pleasant surprise. Rufus Sewell was excellent too.
Exactly! Follow this advice fellas and you might have a girl buying a plane ticket to fly halfway around the world to be with you on Valentine's day. ;)
Oh, you're sweet Anabolina, thanks! I've made up my mind to cut it so now I just want the deed done, you know? I can't wait for Spring too--some natural light would be helpful for photographic purposes--it's pitch dark when I get home now.
It is a nice "everyday" color--not too bright but...
Two dresses I was watching:
I knew this one would end up going for alot--$171.00
This one surprised me though--$202.00. It's silk and it has some lovely details though.
Recently I've been wearing an old favorite, Revlon's Wine with Everything, quite alot. Of all the drugstore brands I think Revlon has the most colors I like. Pardon my hair, I'm getting it cut on Saturday and it can't come fast enough!
Slumber party at Johanna's! Wouldn't that be fun if we could all get together for something like that?
Thanks so much for the tutorial--they are so helpful but I'm sure they're a pain to photograph and such.
Same here--I really didn't "get it" the first time I saw The Third Man which was really disappointing because Joseph Cotten and Orson Welles are two of my favorite actors. I gave it another chance though and something clicked--it's one of my favorite movies now. Holly Martins is one of my...
Issac strikes again! Is the shirt Issac too? I love the sleeves.
That line really is great; I must get to a Target soon--the one drawback to that line for me is I have to try everything on first since the sizes seem a little wonky.
Off topic but I got the spring Boden catalog...
Good suggestions from all the ladies here. I just wanted to add my voice to the chorus praising you for having the strength to leave that relationship. Good for you for recognizing that the violent tendencies and contol issues were big red flags. It may be hard now but it was the right thing...
A ladies suit with those cuffs in a stripe would be fabulous! Vintage buttons, perhaps? I'm trying to schedule a trip to MN this spring and one of the things I'm most looking forward to is seeing your shop in person!
You're too kind about my outfits. I've been traveling for work lately...
Oh, Mojito that headpiece is lovely--I've only seen them rarely.
Lyburnum, I love the pink orchid set in the first picture, so pretty!
RHRH-that skirt is just fabulous! What are you going to wear with it? Because it just begs to be worn.
I love those glasses TigerLily! If you can get it done cheaply I'd put prescription lenses in those--they're so pretty and it's fun to have a couple different pair of specs to choose from.
I found a couple pair of pince nez for quite a good price. I'll let you know when I receive them in...
I adore this look Ruby, you look great--I love the sleeves on the blouse especially. I used to have a grey wool jumper from the 50's that I wore to death in college that looked really similar to the one you're wearing here. Is this Simplicity 3673 by any chance?
