Sure, here's the original post: http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showpost.php?p=719312&postcount=18
I think it's been too long now to deal with trying to return it. But I guess it would be good to know in case I want to sell it.
The whole thing has just been a pain- you know how some...
Any one have any thoughts? I tried to show the shoulder pads, which are serged? (I'm not sure if that's the right term) When did this start? And the hem is so precise and pockets?
So I just wanted to say Thanks! to KittyT for the Frownies recommendation! I've been using them almost every night for about 3 weeks and I can definitely tell my "frown" line is disappearing! Thanks!!! :)
Thanks ohairas! I know, I keep thinking about really thinning mine out more for the 30s reenacting, but I'm too scared! My mom's are really thin from plucking so much and I don't want that to happen permanently!
So I finally got the sailor dress, only took 2 wks-ugh, but I don't know if it is a 40s dress. It kinda looks 80s to me, but I'm no expert. But then some 40s and 80s stuff looks similar. I don't know.
I took some close-ups. Let me know what ya'll think before I bug the seller. I was planning on...
I don't how many of you have heard about this blog, but I find it helpful! Check out this post from last week:

That style was real popular when I sold shoes in the early 90s- Nine west made a lot- I'd try ebay
This is the style I was thinking of- the vamp doesn't scoop exactly the same, but it might be close enough. And I remember they were really comfy.
As a quilter too ;) I like the combination. I think the cabinets painted white would look great too. And I have the same clock as you! But I love it- great job :)

This one started going high from the beginning. I usually don't care for brown or orange, but the style is great. It was listed 40s but looks 30s to me?
Thanks ya'll! I think they're really going to be surprised!
tempestbella42, this is the photo fabric I used:

All you do is scan your photo to make it a jpg.
Then open up Word and Insert the picture.
Then you just follow the directions on...
I finally finished my parents 40th anniversary quilt. I can't wait for them to see it. It includes their wedding picture, one of each of them when they were little, a vacation picture, their 20th anniversary, a couple family pictures and a recent Christmas picture.
I'd never done a memory...
Now, this would have been good if it had gotten the money needed to be finished.

Also,
For anyone who is really interested in Bonnie & Clyde, a new file has recently been uncovered with a lot of new information. Check here for more info...
This is for real. The production company making this movie has been to the Bonnie & Clyde festival for at least the last 3 years. I'm a little perplexed at their casting choices. But I am trying to keep an open mind ;)

Thanks for the info Mojito, interesting- wish I could make it to Paris... :) I actually have a middy blouse that I haven't gotten a chance to wear yet. I'll have to take some pictures. It's in real nice condition, just needs some buttons on the sleeves.
