Here are a few I've been eyeing. I've never tried to sew clothing- I make qulits- but I keep thinking about learning. My main -problem- is I have to have something for 1934- or earlier. For my reenacting. I'm pretty curvy like you and here are a few I've saved for ideas. Any thoughts on...

Best HOT CURLERS/ROLLERS out on the market

I had one of these a long time ago. But if I remember correctly, I lot of steam came out and the roller did get slightly moist. I think your set may not be working correctly.

Ladies in Vintage Jodhpurs and breeches

My breeches fit great. I need to take a picture. Anyway, I'm pretty short- 5' and I was worried they'd be too long, but they hit lower calf area. The one thing I can think of that you might want to check is if there is an inside knee patch area? Not sure if it has a name. But mine hit in the...

    Australia (2008)

We thought it was great! I want Nicole's outfits to go adventuring! It was very entertaining throughout the whole movie, great story, casting. Te little boy is really good too. My only complaint would be the CGI. I wish they'd do some things the old fashioned way. But I'd definitely see it on...

    Vintage Manicures

I always thought it peeled off because of the oils in your nails? But if you are washing ahead of time- I don't know. My nails hate polish. I've tried all kinds of bases, etc and it just makes my nails really brittle. I wore polish in Sept for about 5 days and I am still dealing with it-ugh.

Ode to a hot water bottle.

When I went to Ireland, the lady at the B&B left one for me. I didn't know what is was for-lol. When I asked, she looked at me like I was crazy, but I was like- I live in Texas! Although it does get chilly here at night, I might have to get one :)
