Tattoos or no, the real questions are whether the individuals are familiar with the works of R.F. Burns, and can they explain the mechanism of Armstrong Rotation.
Interesting. You can go to the famous auction site right now and find oodles of unlawful radio devices, many capable of wretched interference with legitimate devices. Too bad Mr. Ryan lacked the clout of the Chinese. I guess by properly assembling "clean" transmitters he brought us all to the...
The Stetson 150 is the stuff of legend. I have a locking metal box made of pure unobtanium waiting for mine.
Our Mennonite bakery is very close to the dairy farm that produces the most excellent cheeses. I need to put on a Steston and go shopping. (See how I kept it on topic ?)
Ja !
Ganz richtig, mein Herr !
It's always corrupted as "Dutch" from "Deutsch." Our Mennonite buddies here are of German extraction, naturlich, and boy can the ladies bake !!!
President Eisenhower was descended from the Pennsylvania Dutch family Eisenhauer, as it was originally spelled. The owner of this One Hundred was probably a cousin from a branch of the family which did not change the spelling.
Lovely hat in a good home !

With coverage such as this you should get a small mixer and a good microphone and do some scheduled programming. Put a network feed on the internet, others can broadcast it, and it's the WEAF experiment all over again !
I'm playing with a Talking House...
I trust it will be back for the winter DX season. Nothing beats these things for old-fashioned audio fun. I might add that your particular beast is very well-preserved for its age.
That would be much fun !
I note that there is an external antenna connection on the GE 100 for DXing on those cold winter nights. There is less worth listening to nowadays, but I never cease to be amazed at how well the tube sets perform. It isn't the radio's fault that the programming is...
I just looked at the schematic and it doesn't. I don't think I'd want a radio with a 'hot" chassis and a phono jack unless I had all of my affairs in order.
Now playing through a phono oscillator off the pod presents no issues.

This is an AC/DC set -...

:D Well, thanks for mentioning Coach Fedora. Why isn't he wearing a domepiece ? The Stetson people ought to approach him. He seems to be a class guy and his endorsement would carry some weight.

Question for the Experts
One of my well-read friends advised that a new work of historical fiction sets forth the notion that the Germans in WWII had far greater success with their espionage in the U.S. than Director Hoover let on.
Is there any recent scholarly work, perhaps based on freshly...
I'll put this here since the old Sticky thread is locked.
