    Grey Fedora

Perhaps you're right. I like feather on my hat because I think a dash of colour brightens things up a bit. In your line of work it might be appropiate to avoid it. However, I suppose this is open for debate.

Vintage style interfere with buying modern clothes?

I believe that classic clothing can be vintage but also very contemporary. It just doesn't go out of style, and you can vary all you want. Fashionable clothes can be very restrictive. The stuff you want is simply not there because it has been decided for you that you don't want it this year. I...

New storage added at Rick's Place

:eusa_clap Just looking great! I'm afraid I would not be able to persuade my wife. She does complain about the boxes though, so I might suggest it as an alternative :D .

    Longhairs & Fedoras

I think I would prefer short hair for hat-wearers. But as I've got very little hair left (and shave the rest off) I'm not the most neutral spectator ;) . Just jealous :D . Hair long or short, it doesn't matter. A style of your own is what counts IMHO.

Ebay Hats: Victories, Defeats, Gripes & Items of Interest

Do you ever realise you just bid on a hat that on second thought you don't really want? Today I was relieved to miss out on a relatively new Borsalino on the German Ebay. Only about 15 mins before ending I was outbid. Pfewww...:eusa_doh::o :D

Are there no hatters in Europe???

I live in the north of the Netherlands where in the city of Groningen (I went to University there :cheers1: those were the days...) the hatshop H. Witting & Zn (Witting & son) is located since 1876. http://www.witting.nu/ I sent them a mail to ask if they did any repairs, and they invited...

Moonstone Federation 4 in Mexico...am i gonna melt??

Hot or not Congratulations fallbackdown82! I agree with our Australian friends: I have an Akubra Cattleman (no liner) which I wear for work in the sun. OK, it's Holland and not in the Sahara, I'll give you that, but desert people always seem to cover up in protective clothing against the heat...

    Berets, Anyone?

In the Netherlands berets are traditionally worn in the army and by the Marines (even in the Navy and Airforce berets are now introduced). However, we've had our "beret discussion" as well when the colour of the regular army beret was changed from olive to dark green. The special forces wear a...

    In a perfect world ...

Great hat. Crossover country-fedora-cowboy style. I like it. The wider ribbon and large bow make a bold statement and the slightly larger button complements it perfectly IMHO.

    Posting our Fed IV's, yet!

Well, the problem is Hatsdirect say that the size of the Fed4 is half a size SMALLER then regular, hence my fear of mine being too small. As for sending it back, my nightmare scenario is to find out that a 55 is too small, after a long wait and having to pay taxes again, send it back, wait...
