Thanks for your thoughts Spiffy, I think a friend still has it on their DVR so I'll take a look. I really like Eliza, I hope she has a good run and you're so right about early episodes of Whedon.
I really need to stop watching PBS documentaries; saw one on the doctor who devised the...
Last year I saw a gentleman who was so nattily dressed in vintage style I was sure he had to be on the Lounge but I didn't have the guts to approach him.
Baths, no question! I equate showers with rushing to get somewhere and baths with time to soak and read. Also, I enjoy using bubble bath and such, which one obviously cannot use in the shower. I grew up with an old cast iron footed tub and I can't wait for the day when I have one again.
I missed Dollhouse--did you see it? Thoughts? A couple friends of mine were on the fence about it but I think even middling Whedon is better than no Whedon at all.

So pretty! I've got one from the late 1930's. My mother used to brag about someone in the family making it until my grandmother corrected her; it was actually purchased from a Sears catalog!
I nearly did a spit take reading the legend on your avatar Paddy--too funny! Your poor dog (is that Ross or Harry?) looks none too happy in the snow but you look spiffy as ever.
I actually look fairly decent and vintage today (black 40s dress). Maybe I can remember to take a picture when I...
Beautiful things! I just hopped over to PastPerfect and I would buy out their 20s/30s section if I could. I thought this Hattie Carnegie suit had MissHannah written all over it:
and from another site I loved this 40's jacket (though the mannequin's arms are too long for it!):
I wasn't sure where to put this so, mods, please feel free to move this if necessary.
One of my heroines, Miep Gies, is turning 100 years old on Sunday (god willing). Amazing! Here's a press release from the Anne Frank house for those who are interested.
