Yeah I did notice that - incredible! And appliances like that are soooo expensive to buy. It's too bad, I can see why it wouldn't sell though, because I've watched enough of those "selling houses" programs to know that the neutral houses sell best because then people design them their way...- MaryMary

Yep, these are individuals that definitely have money to burn. I know I've said this before on here, but I feel like its becoming an epidemic. I swear a few years back dresses like these would have gone for $150, maybe $200 max...but now dresses are between $400-600???? I don't know, I think...- MaryMary

Yeah because the disposibles are always very thin and I find a out-sweat them....ew...:D Oh...and to add...in a pinch, I have actually used maxi pads....LOL don't judge me, they actually work! Well, I mean the good name-brand ones that have a better adhesive...I stuck them in there and no one...- MaryMary

Hats - where to begin?
That is true - which is why I try to remember to buy some very simple vintage dresses as well, in solid colours because then my "gotta have 'em" hats match perfectly! Patterns helped me greatly as well. And I love when you're watching an old movie and are like, "Oh THAT'S how the hat is...- MaryMary

This actually just happened to me. I bought an item recently and KNEW it would not cost as much to ship as the seller insisted it would. Turns out, I was right...she charged me triple the amount actually, and never refunded me the difference, nor did it say in her policies that she charges for...- MaryMary

I totally agree! It is so hard not to walk up to the counter and ask them if they're kidding...lol I find this happens mostly in brick and mortar stores versus online, where the prices are usually higher to begin with.- MaryMary

How to wear a 'Pert' hat
You can also try attaching some elastic to the hat - some of my tilt hats come with it already but I know they often break over the years, so some don't. I think some of the ladies on here have tried this....- MaryMary

I tried both the washable ones and the disposable, and I have to say that the disposables didn't work all that well for me - they were so thin that on a hot day I just sweat right through them! The ones that are thicker have always worked best for me.- MaryMary
