I've tried it in the past too. It is a cool thing, but makes you wonder, since the photos are about 10 years old... Just how good is the "real" version.
WOWO did a major change in late 90's. They were bought out and changed their format. Plus they moved the sation and no longer had the world famous fire escape.
It was big new when I was living in Fort Wayne.
I have them printed on my 37 Zenith dial.
I know of a guy working on that same problem. I think he came up with a solution...

I found an old Knox 15 Bright blue in corduroy Homburg. It's one crazy hat, sweatband is bit worn, and it has a costume shop's name in it, but it's an antique store. It would go great with a crazy bright blue suit.

I just stood by the tea kettle. I used a drinking glass and a small metal flask to help hold the shape as it would burn the finger tips too much. Took about 45 minutes of shaping, trying on, re-shaping till I had it about right. It's not as smooth as if I had a block, but I like it.

Although my 7 3/8 is more like a 7 1/2 as I had to "pad it a bit"
