It arrived, and it is indeeed a slate grey, which is what I was hoping for. I've been fishing for a grey one for about six months.

I have some vigorous brushing to do to clean it up a bit, and I plan to have Greeley hatworks shape the grey one into a match for the tan one.

Brim width is 2.5", and with the long oval configuration, it's an excellent fit. There are a couple of small stains on the ribbon, but I'm not sure I need/want to have it cleaned for that. Whether I have it cleaned will depend on how it brushes up.

That's a very nice color. Must be pretty rare to get an OR in that color, as most I've seen are of the light tan variety...KC

That is a great looking hat, Pilgrim. I think it will clean up well, but you want to reshape it out of its fedora configuration? It looks so smooth with the bash it has!
