Thank you, crwitt. I brushed it out more after the photo and it smoothed rather nicely. It wants to bunch up as the day goes on though, and not sure how to combat that. Your up-do with the scarf is adorable.
Great idea, thank you for posting it! I'm going to have to try this. I love victory rolls but am never satisfied with them, attempted wet or dry. I haven't had much luck wrapping them around a hairbrush handle or mascara wand either (all thumbs).
Do you have updated photos? I remember finding yours some time ago and no pictures. Someone had posted an archive of it, but I suspect that won't last forever either. I have trimmed my hair using your tutorial and it was very helpful.

And one for the pan-stick. You might find info about the shades in these.
Got my pair of Willit's on Friday!
I am so happy with them - they fit perfectly. There has been virtually NO breaking in period. I threw on a pair of socks and wore them all of Saturday and Sunday without a problem. I am in the process of gradually moving house so there was a lot of...
Good to know about the Bass. I've read reviews on show sites and some were favorable, some not. Several have commented about the soles. I wonder if this is a quality issue or a quality control issue with the making of the soles.

Sorry for the accidental blur in these, and the wash out in the last (trying to lighten so you could see the curl pattern better). This is with minimal brushing also - I really only went through it with a comb...
Very cute and I'm glad to hear this set is working out so well for you. I have had a crazy schedule and only had a chance to give it a half-a** attempt. The results have been promising, and I can't wait until I have time to do a proper set. Your hair is cute and I say flowers all the way! (and...
Got more goodies
If you're interested in saddle shoes (and if you're reading this, I assume you are!:)), here's a very interesting article written by a journalist in Iowa several years back about a saddle shoe 'uprising', so-to-speak. He went on a search for a new pair when his wore out and...
Thanks, ladies. And Lina, Docs are for either gender - they are usually in men's Euro sizing, and must be converted to women's sizes depending on what part of the world you live in.
They have Docs with a brick sole too.
I have a pair of standard Doc boots that I really like - they are very comfortable and had virtually no breaking in period for me. Wondering if the oxford type would be the same. I am wishing I were back in the UK right now - there was an irregulars...
LinaSofia, your post urged me to go browsing around the internet too. I used to have a pair of Payless saddle shoes in the 80s that I loved. My friends thought I was weird; my mother thought I was insane for wanting them in the first place (she wore them when she was in high school), but she...
