    Before you brushed out the curls, were they smaller in size than your usual sets? I ask because it seems like smaller curls after unrolling = more frizz for a lot of people, myself included.

    I'm not sure what exactly cold cream can be used for, but I'm most familiar with it as a makeup remover and skin treatment. My grandmother used it religiously. A water-free skin protectant for cold weather sounds more like a petroleum jelly (Vaseline).
