Mystic - looks like it's got potential. One of my favourite vintage finds arrived flattened having been posted in a plastic bag... Thankfully it responded to steam and didn't even need re-blocking. -

GoldenEraFan - I'm no expert, but I don't think the wind trolley precludes an older hat. I'd have guessed at 40's, but it's a guess... Nice looking hat anyway. -

Your photoshop skills are much better than mine anyway :) Aaron's right - lighting does change a hat's apparent colour considerably, but in any lighting I'd describe it as a more neutral tone. It's not really an olive, but it's not a real green... Have you seen this... -
The Bowler or Derby Hat
I doubt there's any real difference in construction between bowlers made in the late 50's through to the early 70's anyway :) I've had no luck identifying the maker from the tag on the auction example. It could be any of the UK makers still in existence at that point. The ribbon fray is very... -

Without wishing to denigrate your photoshop skills, the Bluegrass green is a lot less 'green' in real life - I think in real life you'd like it a lot more :) Having said that, the Taupe Fawn does look good. -
