Take care those of you in the US with snow. Gales and flooding here - we seem to have the odd day of calm then they're back again.
Probably the best hat for wearing in strong winds - a bowler today (late 60's/early 70's Failsworth), and no the knit tie doesn't work with a bowler... :
Looking good in that OR David. Really mild here, just gales and floods...
S4C - very smart.
Joao - there goes your excuse for buying an open-top sports car ;) Looks good.
Perry - the victor looks great with that wider pinch.
Sam - looks suitably warm.
TJones - very sharp
Jeff - nice...
Thanks Charlie - oddly the Canterbury shot (where I'm heading back to work) has less of a smile than the Faversham shot, where I'm heading homewards ;)
Thanks TJones - the western looks good, I'd try a bit of felt before parting with it.
Alan - lovely finish!
The difference between the felt on the Squatter and a Campdraft isn't that noticeable - the superfine is slightly smoother, and the hat slightly lighter but it's not a significant difference to my mind (I've not weighed them...). I really like the Carbon Grey/Steel colour - it's dark, but...
Tommy - the Jaxon suits you.
David - lovely Raiders hat - one of the nicest I've seen.
Perry - that's lovely - I really like the ribbon proportions
Sam - a lovely pair.
Joao - I like that wide brim.
Charlie - I love those shots :) Great hat too :)
Davey - looks good - you've got the right...
I'm only up to four bowlers, but am always on the look out for something a little different (and in a big enough size to fit my oversized head!). A nice brown or grey vintage bowler in a 7 1/2 is on my wish list, as is a squared top :)
This one is pretty tall 6" crown as opposed to the more...
Nice finds Joao - I'm no Stetson expert, but the second one looks 50's and first one a fair bit younger (70's?).
You might be able to arrest or at least slow the sweatband deterioration with a leather balsam, but it will probably need replacing at some point.
