Great fabric Justin.
David - Very cool with the shades :)
Looking good g.d.
John - a fine pair of hats again.
------------------
Did someone say it's the season for black? Giving the new Vanzina a spin:
Phil - yours is an older model - it's not unknown for hatters to keep the name yet drastically alter the design!
I think yours might have been made by Christys for Bates from what I can see.
The western does look good on you TJones - I hope you can find a way to pad it and keep it.
Andy - another fine cap. The doughnut reminds me I need to lose a few pounds :)
daizawaguy - it looks like a Tonak to me, but whilst I'm sure Bates have a heavy mark up it may not be the same grade of felt as the ones you linked to. Tonak produce hats at various price points, and appear to supply most of the UK hatters.
Alan - thanks for the link. Mines probably late 70's early 80's from comparison with the Borsalino's I've got from that period, but it's a bit of a guess! I didn't exactly need another black Homburg, but couldn't resist as it was a very good price and in my size!
Thanks Roger.

Alan - that is a rare beauty. I'm extremely envious!
Joao - thanks for sharing those photos - I'm glad they've kept them. This is a bit more on the Isle of Wight service - 75yr old rolling stock still in daily use: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_483 - if you're ever in UK...
One of two new arrivals today - Vanzina Homburg in lovely condition (black in case you're wondering!):
I'm guessing it's from when Borsalino owned the brand, but dating it is difficult! Any thoughts?
Joao - nice photos. I holidayed on the Isle of Wight a few years back, and was amazed to discover their railway uses refurbished 1930's London Underground trains.
David - I do like that Black Cherry colour.
Dale - if you've got any of that sunshine spare, we could do with a bit :) Nice Dobbs...
Mystic - the Barrister loos great. Superb rescue job on that.
Adrian - lovely proportions and a great colour.
Joao - l'm enjoying your shots of the wide brim, and that aqueduct is amazing. Yes more rain to come, to add to the flooding. A wider brimmed bowler is on my wish list :)
