David - you always make a great start to the day - the Mallory is no exception.
Sam - that Selentino looks great on you.
Andy - nice cap, and give a furry a go. I've only gone the velour route so far, but it's nice to have some texture in the collection.
Perry - great looking Fawcett, and a...
Sam - nice cap - I like the full cut
Bert - the Champ looks good brim up. How long did the carving take?
Roger - A fine pair of hats, I particularly like the VS pecan.
Thanks all for the comments.
A couple of new arrivals:
A gift from Manfred - 'Derby Cap' Probably German manufacture 50's/60's. Nice leather front, lovely fabric and in superb condition:
and a new James Dermot herringbone cap -lovely quality, but visually a little bit too tapered towards the peak for my round head:
Lovely cap Andy.
Charlie - your wives let you out on your own :eeek: Brave women :) Both of you looking great in great hats.
John - a fine looking pair of fellows in fine looking hats :)
Garrett - that's a beautiful Huckle.

Thanks folks. The moonstone Fed probably gets the least wear of the three Feds but does work well with blues. Ole - the plain fabric is British Millerain, so it does keep the worst of the rain off the shoulders - jacket is Common People - a fairly new English company.
gear-guy - lovely Borso
Garrett - very nice Dunn & Co. You don't see many from the 20s/30s
Joe - good looking western
Jeff - that's a great looking bowler
hatguy1 - looks a decent reproduction. My knowledge of the American Civil War is obviously limited, but Lee seemed an interesting figure...
No need for silica - it's not going to be that long in a box. Crush protection of some sort is essential. Plastic bag might be useful if the box gets wet.
