I have a few...always been a fan of the 6 panel and my oldest is about 35 yrs old, purchased new and now nicely worn to a near relic condition. 4 years ago I bought a couple from Aran Sweater Market in Ireland, which are maybe the best made caps I've ever come across. I bought a grey tweed...
The X factor in modern day hats is all over the fur map. There was a time when it had some relevance to the amount of beaver fur but these days not so much unless you're buying from a boutique maker who publishes the X list for their hats. For example: Rand's 10 X is 100% beaver and their 8X...
After a couple of years of hoping I'd find a Stratoliner in my size and preferred color at the Stetson/Resistol Factory Outlet Store, which is only a few miles away, I have finally given up the quest and hopes of saving some money ( they sell for $79 at the Outlet Store ) and ordered a new one...
How many hats does one man need?
I have more than I need, that's for sure. But I'm thinking:

I have an old Camp Draft in bluegrass green and this photo is as close to an exact color match as I've ever seen. It looks exactly like the color here. There's nothing blue about it....it's a gentle green. My wife says it's her favorite hat color. So that's good enough for me!
I received the Sandtone Fawn CP last week and it arrived in 5 days, perfect cond, from Aus. Love the color and the fit is perfect. My wife also loves it and wants one now. I opted for the Aus purchase instead of domestic because I didn't want the ribbon band that comes on the domestic CPs and...
take a look at the Riverina...it's a Pedy without the liner and a slightly wider brim.
I have a Territory that has been my work hat for several years. I don't wear it in the summer but it gets a lot of wear in the cooler months. Great sun protection and air flow and no liner.
it's always a sad day when one of our music icons passes. I've been enjoying ZZ Top's music since 1971 when I first saw them live. They were just a little old blues band from Texas back then.
Over the years I was able to catch several of their shows and even had backstage, all access passes...
Akubra Territory. mowed 3 acres this morning on my zero turn and a light rain started falling during the last 45 min or so. was glad I had the big Akubra on. it was about 63 degrees out. as soon as I washed the wet grass from the underside of the deck and put the John Deere in the workshop...
