I think that's steer. Alan has a few CXL options in cow, but nothing in HH. The overdye cxl they used to have is no longer available either unfortunately. I think it was a fan favorite

I don't believe Alan has moleskin but I know you can opt for black corduroy to line the pockets if you'd like.
What's the difference between the M100 and M200?
I don't think he has the same espresso shade any longer. It's my understanding that he has a slightly darker variation. I think it's called rockford or something like that.

I'm not sure I agree with the "costume" point either. I don't think every office worker needs to walk around looking like they stepped out of a Brooks Brothers ad, and I don't judge a mechanic who wears Polo clothing when not at work.

Unfortunately, in my experience, the width of the pant legs never shrink more than a quarter inch or so. Also, it looks like they are cut to accommodate the shrinking (i.e. the measurements listed are post-soak)

I agree, these SJC's are an exceptional value.
I don't find the rise on the G straight fit unreasonable but could certainly understand it not working for everyone. I would roll the dice on these SJCs but can't get over the cuff - just my personal taste.
