Fantastic! We've seen the Board Racer in so many different hides and colors now, and each one is even better than the last. It's a classic pattern made better by Aero's extensive stable of hides. You're only limited by your imagination.

You took a courageous plunge into 'roo territory, where few have gone before, and have been rewarded with one fine looking jacket. Great color. :)

Great jacket!
I'm curious how it will break in....I've heard that apart from its renowned durability and abrasion resistance, that Kangaroo creases easily and quickly and thats why some don't like it for shoes....if thats true it should make for a very interesting looking jacket.

Kangaroo must vary enormously. I had a jacket that simply refused to break in even after 10 years, not a crease or a fade. But I have a kangaroo wallet that in just 3 months looked like corrugated iron sheeting.

I agree with all said so far. The simplifications along with the color and stitching make for a very subtle, distinctive jacket. I hope your jacket is on the easy end for break in. My 10 year old kangaroo wallet is like Seb's jacket.

Beautiful leather colour. A bit thin for my taste, but certainly great for a light summer jacket. I own a kangaroo leather hat, brought from Australia from a friend, I wear it when working in the garden, it looks as new after years of wear.

Stunning jacket. I'm really intrigued by the roo hide... by all accounts it's like goat in that it can be both light and tough, but even moreso. Could be perfect for a Summer jacket.

Congrats! Me likey!

These exotic leathers rock! I have a G&B deer A-2 with similar properties- light weight but strong.

Hey Cyber Lip, It was an additional $125.

Still waiting for it to cool down a bit so I can break it in and get some fit pics.

That looks quite nice. I used to ride in kangaroo hide gloves but started wearing deerskin. Anyway, 'roo hide is mighty fine! Enjoy that jacket.

How's it breaking in? Curious about the hide, will it develop wrinkles and grain, or is it more rubbery like goat?

Goat isn't always rubbery, just as kanga will vary a lot. Kanga usually has a firm hand to it. Only time will tell how this ages.

Kangaroo would perhaps be one of the last remaining wild beasts culled commercially in a sustainable manner for both meat and hides in the world these days. No scientific farming here.

Sorry... The summer refuses to go away in Texas this year and it's still been too warm for me to wear. I will report back though. Maybe I just need to schedule some vacations to colder climes...

In N Texas, for the most part it has been necessary for me to break in virtually all of my leather jackets indoors. No autumn summer in this location.
