    Show us your Swirl dresses!

I got a really great deal on a Swirl from Etsy and it fits like a glove. Unfortunately the seller failed to mention that it has blue paint marks and a small hole and I don't want to return it as I would lose all the shipping costs. Sigh. But I still like it:), even if it has turned me off Etsy...

I got them on Ebay. They still have some floating aorund in different sizes on Ebay UK if you search for Clarks T Bar or Clarks wedge.

    The Queen on Channel 4+1

I think so, although I am in the earlier parts still. I don' actually know that much about the Royal family apart from embarrassing behaviour that made it to the press and Prince Phillip's frequent gaffes, so I do find it interesting. I do realise it's a film though. :)

    Favorite liquid eyeliner

For me it depends on the eye makeup remover, and I haven't found anything that beats Boots Botanics Soothing Eye Makeup Remover, which takes off all my waterproof mascara and anything else without having to rub a lot. I tried lots of expensive ones, but this is by far the best one and I tend to...

    Cute Vintage-y Shoes

Oh, glad to hear they are comfy! I saw them in lemon as well, but not my size unfortunately. OT, but I always meant to ask if your dress in your avatar is M&S 125 year anniversary edition by any chance?

    New with Questions!

I guess it depends what era you like. Coco Chanel was considered very masculine for her time and started off by actually wearing men's clothes.

The Cleaning Clothes (vintage or other) Thread

So I just got back from a charity shop and today I actually found a really great 50's black lace dress with only minor repairs. It fits like a glove and doesn't smell bad at all, but it has several layers and I don't know how to clean it. There is the top layer of black lace, a layer of netting...

    Dita Von Teese

Excellent post! The only thing I would like to add is that I think it is sad how hard women can be on other women, especially ones they have never met or met only briefly.

    Footwear for Winter

I think it depends on how the suede or leather has been treated. I have several pairs of well worn suede boots that have gotten wet a lot and never had any water damage, and I have leather winter boots that got wet and were ruined with watermarks after one outing in the snow and despite being...
