    I disagree that there is a choice with make-up or hair. I think the social consequences are just more subtle, but they are still there. Any celebrity that gets caught without make-up on immediately has the relevant magazines doing stories on them, similar to Julia Roberts' unshaven armpit...

    I can't sleep either:) I did soak it in Vanish for hours, and even bought some stain remover for paint at the shop today, but no success. The dress was less than $30, so I'll just take it as a lesson learned and won't buy from them again. She didn't seem to believe me about the paint or hole...

    I contacted her right away and she said they normally don't miss stains, such as paint, and if I send it back they'd refund me the price of the dress. She also said the hole must be where the tie threads through...obviously that's not what I meant, there is one in the skirt. I already paid $14...
