What are your unreleased dvd wants?

It is, and I love it. I want to see more pre-Hays Code stuff like that.

    Whippet real good! With photos...

Yep, I need to box up about a half-dozen of mine and ship 'em off to Art. Some need cleaning and blocking, some need the sweatbands re-stitched like my Adam topper, my Lock fedora and my weird Royal Stetson Open Road.

    Sewing a sweatband?

I have a few hats like that, and I'm planning on sending them to a pro. Then again, I'm a klutz and haven't attempted sewing in a long time.

RCA Victor record find. What exactly have I got here?

If you're used to Frank Sinatra's voice from the 1950s and '60s, you may not recognize it on those records at first. Frank suffered a vocal cord injury in 1952 and was afraid his career was over. After he recovered, his voice became the one we know from the Rat Pack days, lower and edgier.

    ADAM ALLEY

Adam Premier Another Adam, this one's a Premier. I've had this one a while, when it arrived it looked in sice shape except that it had shrunk terribly. I've stretched it a bit, but ultimately this one will have to go to a pro. I think it's worth it, it's fundamentally in good shape and...

You don't happen to have any of Oliver Hardy's old suits stashed away, do ya? I'd love his wardrobe from "Zenobia."

That first picture is the look, with the front and back of the brim dipped down. I need to get out the teapot and try to get my Homburgs closer to that look.

    eBay Can Be Hell

I haven't had too much trouble stretching felt hats back to their "original" size. I have a really cool looking Adam that's shrunk all to heck but is otherwise in fine shape. That one's a 7-1/4 so I'll have to stretch it a little more, but it should be OK as long as I don't go overboard.

    Stetson Vita-felt

I haven't bought any vintage hat ads yet, I should look into some. They take up less space than the hats themselves, and are generally cheaper, too. lol
