Vintage DEADSTOCK Trousers for the Larger Gentleman (44 waist)--SOLD

I have two identical pairs of vintage, deadstock wool trousers. Made by Woolrich Woolen Mills, they are made from a very thick, heavy gray herringbone wool tweed-like fabric that is far heavier than anything made today and that drapes wonderfully. They are flat-front with a button fly, onseam...

    What are you wearing today??

The bow is Polo RL. A couple of other Polo bows I have seem to be oddly proportioned and appear too small for my face, but I think this one is marginally OK. The pattern...my camera frustrates me. I can't seem to get details to come out clearly. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, or if the...

For those with an open mind (Men's fashion across most modern eras)

Surely there are RTW makers in Japan that cater to men of smaller stature? I mean, I know Brooks Brothers and J Press in the US don't carry anything below a size 36S, but I wonder if their Japanese stores do. And would think there must be Japanese-market-only stores that carry small sizes.

    Should I get a Whangee?

If you use Paypal, you can install the Paypal Virtual Debit Card, which works like a MasterCard and debits the money from your Paypal account. I've used it when I have had money in my account and the merchant doesn't take Paypal directly.

LS, someone who dresses as well as you needs make no apologies for not wearing vintage. Keep up the good work!

    What are you wearing today??

Thanks. I got some new buttons (6 of 'em) for the front of the suit; I just need to take the time to sew them on. Does anyone know how to attach inside and outside buttons that are in the same location? Do you sew them on at the same time, with the same piece of thread? The tie is Brooks...

They are good, and they can be very good. Their regular line of shoes is at least as well-made as Allen-Edmonds or Alden are, and their Handgrade line is just a bit of a step down from what Edward Green produces.
