FFF is right, I believe. By the '30's Deco was all the rage. Nouveau would have been viewed as rather old-fashioned...it had pretty well fallen out of style by the early to mid-'20's. Both were decorative styles, not artistic schools.

My favourite hat is a Bates (wore it today). The texture and comfortable fit put most of my other hats to shame. I understand they moved down the street...to number 71 or so.
It'll be interesting to see what they do with the Swede character in the second season, particularly given the tar and feathers revenge from his extortion victims.

While shopping the other day I was frankly too lazy to go back to the entrance and get a basket so my Stetson 3X beaver did double duty as a shopping basket. Worked great. Hats...can't do without 'em.
