I recently received a hat from an eBay seller who both doused the hat with the vile stuff AND stuffed a dryer sheet into the crown of the hat! :eusa_doh:
Febreeze is one scent that without fail attacks my sinuses, leaving me with a serious headache!

It's a perpetual state of being.
Interesting that you link to that... I commented in the thread! :eusa_doh: Still looks great. While I personally couldn't fit that hat into my out and about town wardrobe too much, I can easily see myself wearing one for outdoor pursuits.
Randy
Looks GREAT on you!
I like what you've done to the crown. Nice looking hat! :eusa_clap It's interesting how much straighter the sides are on this III vs. the IV's you typically see.
Thanks for sharing with us, and welcome to the Akubra owners family. [now leave your wallet at the door...
For the money, I'd have to say the Akubra is the best long run choice. For around the same price [or maybe cheaper if you shop around], you've got a pure rabbit felt hat which will withstand [almost] anything you throw at it.
After a quick check, EverythingAustralian has the best Leisure Time...
Ouch!
I've had hats shipped to me in some pretty wonky boxes, so I know what you mean. At least Akubras can take the punishment, and if anything be softer and more "characterized" once you give them a reshape.
Congratulations, you've got a fine hat.

P.S can't wait to see any...
Everything was identical. I logged on to bid, then remembered I needed to reply to an email so I opened another tab, then forgot the time as I wrote and the auction was already over once I remembered. [huh]
The hat seems to have a lot of character, so I was wanting it for when I felt like...
Bahhhhhh. I was going to bid on that last night, but got involved in sending an email and missed it. Then saw this morning it was relisted, and sold. :eusa_doh:
