Yup, that's it. But now, in that one, it looks like tucks! It's the mystery hat!
Great clear photo, Hadley.
I think it was probably very light in color which doesn't translate very well into film- that's why in some shots you can see it more clear than others.
Me too! I have had them on the "to sew" for a long time, now. Gotta make em up! I want to cheat, though, and find pre-embroidered trim so I can make a pair like Jean Arthur. :D Want to start a club?
Here's a few more from the stash:
I love the silly attached apron in this one:
The last one...
I really love those ones you posted!! Yay! Isn't that Jean Arthur outfit from You Can't Take it With You?
Here's a pattern I've got in my stash as another example.
I really need to make some up, too!

I watched the movie this afternoon. It looks like it's a wool that's been corded around the circumference. I have a hat with a similar treatment in my collection. I'll try and take a picture tomorrow when it's light outside so you can see what I mean.

First kiss, truth or dare when I was a kid. Should never have taken that dare. Lame.
Awesome. Those lots are great for keeping the sewing room stocked! Nothing as aggravating as being mid-project and then realizing you don't have something.
Hi!
I clicked on your links and they were bigger there. It looks like what you have is a 1910s camisole and petticoat. It looks like possible there is a place at the waist to put in a drawstring at the bottom of the bodice? Probably homemade, with homemade crocheted lace as well. Cute!
Yay! Thanks, gals!
I wish I found more of that fabric! I got less than a yard because it's all the lady had :( Ideally I'd love three yards so I could make a dress. Maybe I'll run across it someday!
I spend most New Years sitting in front of the tv watching old movies. lol But maybe I can...
