    Panama Hat Thread

I got caught in a soaking thunderstorm the first time I ever wore my first Panama from Panama Bob. The brim snap became quite wonky and hilarious looking. Before the hat was completely dry I used a warm iron over a towel around the brim to settle it down a bit. Methinks that if a brim assumes...

    Panama Hat Thread

Overruled I'm not quite getting the 'bad tie' vibe. I'm going with a 'tacky vintage cool' thing but am a little unsure so I asked my wife and she agrees. :) I'd wear it. Whatever, old pug, new pug, new ribbon, whatever it's a great Monti! Any guess as to the vintage of this one?

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

Since I'm having so much fun with straws lately and Panamas in particular these two are really floating my boat. We got frumpy. We got polished. Both very cool looks for a Panama! :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

    Do hats get women?

I've always loved women that are not afraid to fart like men. Dainty chicks - how did ScottF say it in the Derbynator thread? - "shall be brushed aside".

What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

Wow!, that was a lot of work and it really paid off. Why do you want to replace the ribbon? It's stunning the way it is. Do you like wider ribbons better? If that's the case then you'd be better off waiting for another lid with a wider ribbon - and that 2 cents worth I will offer for free. ;)...

    Montecristis from Panamas.biz

No Montecristi here yet but I have some brisas floating around the lounge. I'm waiting for next summer for a Monticristi or 'the forlorn hat in a tube stuffed in the hutch drawer' - cough, hack, sniff , snarl,... (sorry about that) - whichever comes first. or second. :D ... unless...

The sweat liner was no afterthought. This is a well designed and well made hat! The shipping sounds funky though. "Shipping/Handling to the U.S.A. is $14.95 by Small Packet Air Mail." What? Some sort of vacuum bag? lol

    Akubra Squatter w/ narrower brim?

I'm not so sure.... about any thing with the felt in it... Now I have to ask this. Is assessing the felt some sort of college boy drinking game? I mean really gentlemen. ;) :p This Akubra felt has me fascinated so I'm ordering a Fed lV in heritage just so I can make a...
