I was thinking about that too. Let me know if you get it. My Washington, D.C.-area hat man Vince has visited them, works with them, is or was on their website. My next Panama hat is definitely coming from Ecuador directly rather than from another seller, to save money. Having bought a very nice one there personally in 1986 for $50, I'd like to get another one from there.

I've sold hats to Vince before, but he doesn't work with us...that is somebody else. Vince can verify that he's done a dozen or so hats for us.

LO done in USA only, so USA blocked, but not Ecuadorian blocked hats can be LO.

My preference in straw blockers for quality are VS Custom Hats, Premier Panama Hats, Optimo Arizona and Batsakes Bros. Optimo Chicago makes great hats, but we don't have a working relationship. Many of the others, I've found, are more bark than bite in the quality vs. price ratio.
