I miss the caboose at the end of the train.
Also, a couple of years ago the elemntary school I went to was torn down. Made me sad.
Pepsi tasted better out of a 16oz glass bottle.
Need some help
Hello all,
New to the forum and recently bought my first hat from a fellow member. Problem is although the hat is a good looking piece and the member I bought it from could not have been nicer, I apparently didn't measure my head properly or I converted the size incorrectly...
I can clearly see in this picture that it is chambered in "38 S&W ctg". This was the prefered cartrige of the British Empire and there was known as the .38/200. The diameter of the 38/200 is slightly larger than 38 special and it's case length was slightly shorter than 38 special. Also the...
I don't believe so, but I'm no expert. The S&W Victory model (M&P) was issued to Navy and Marine pilots in WWII but I'm not aware of the military purchasing the larger framed Heavy Duty.
Of course the Military did buy the large frame S&W and Colt 1917 models for WWI but of course they were...
Like Mike said, try Gunbroker or Auction Arms, four of the six guns I posted were bought off the net. The Combat Masterpiece was picked up for $300.00 plus $25 shipping and the 29 was $360(got lucky on that one) plus $25. Those prices were the range I paid for all of them but that was 5 years...
Yes, it's not like this picture was taken with someone's iphone. I can just picture some guy with a big box camera saying "hold still for a few seconds".
I especially like the horn.
Renault-yeah, I picked up the HD about 5 years ago. Had Goodyears on it and I paid $340. The picture makes it look nicer than it is:(.
Has a few freckles and some scratches under the grips put there by some bonehead:o A 4" prewar NICKEL HD would be an awesome piece to have, congrats to you...
I know this is from before the time period but I thought I'd share this family pic.
The car is an Elixer from I believe 1911.
In the driver's seat is my great grandpa with his brother riding shotgun.
In the back from left (obiously) is my great grandma, great uncle's son, and my grandpa.
Here's my S&W model 29-2 from 1969, 44 magnum.
and a S&W Heavy Duty from 1955, 38 special.
a pre-27 from 1954, 357 magnum with service grips from the '20's
a Combat Masterpiece from around 1952-53, 38 special.
my lovely little Military & Police snubby from 1958, 38 special...
My apologies again for this run around. I sent an untitled email to you with my wife's email address. Hopefully this will work.
Thanks again for your patience.
Apologies if I'm missing something but I've checked my email for a message and didn't see one. I would still like the hat.
If you could send me another email I would appreciate it.
Thanks
