    Leave her to heaven (1945)

I watched this for the first time on Tuesday. Has anyone else seen it? I found it to be a wonderfully entertaining! Gene tierney was brilliant! A couple things that stood out to me was that cold, heartless look on her face while in the row boat. Sent shivers down my spine! Also, when she...

I picked up a tube this week at rite aid. I gotta tell ya--they didn't make it easy! It was on the bottom shelf, in the corner and the label wasn't even facing out!y I'm happy to report that my husband is loving it! It makes his hair soft, shiny and defined! I really like the way it smells. ;)

Moderators-feel free to love this if there's a better place for it. I did a search but came up empty handed. My husband wants brilcreem. So far I've only had the chance to check hannafords. Next step will be rite aid and CVS. I'd rather not order online if I can avoid it. Are there any users of...

How to be a Hepburn in a Hilton World

Is that the soap in Christmas story? I'll have to pay closer attention the next time I watch it(which just happens to be this weekend hehe)! I saw the coco book too. I want!

    What would she ask for?

With Christmas now upon us, it's gotten ne thinking--what do you think a women of 1940's would have on her wishlist? A new dress? Stockings? Or perhaps more practical things? Things that would be a treat or a luxury during wartime?

LOL! That's an interesting point about the advertising. I hadn't thought of that! I can't remember how I found out about it. Doing reasearch on making laundry detergent maybe? Anyways I was pretty surprised my local hannafords carried it but boy was I happy when I found it! :-D

...is the best thing since sliced bread! I recently started making my own laundry detergent & I picked up a bar of this for stain removal. It's no wonder it's been around for such a long time. I almost think I like it better than bleach, something I never thought I'd say!
