Ebay is changing their business plan away from auctions and favoring "buy it now" options for low priced goods. They want to take on Amazon.com because the think the online auction biz has run it's course.

Well I've used them for many things, they even reassembled a vintage shirt of mine when the stitching was all rotted. I'll take it in and tell them what I expect and see their reaction.
And the zipper is perfect! Thanks again!
It's not just genetics, but also tied to your age. I once read that the percentage of baldness is almost the same as your age. 20% of 20 year olds have some degree of hair loss, 30% of 30 year olds, 40% of 40 year olds and so on.
Thanks for all the advice and offers! I just bought a vintage zip from an FLer so I think I'm set for now. I am a little concerned that it's done right though. If I was to pack it up and ship it to someone to replace for me the right way, who should that be? Preferably in the USofA.
I would have to disagree with this:
" Speaking of creases, ties should never be ironed because doing so can permanently flatten the tie's rolled edges, giving it an unattractive, one-dimensional appearance."
A one dimensional tie would be quite a trick. ;)
Thanks Senicko_Spain. I see the two zips in 60 and 62 cm. Does it need to be the exact length, or does it just get cut off at the top? I know nothing about sewing and such.
I was looking at some of my hats and a few have a thin rim binding, but then it's dressed up with a little extra stitching though the brim just to the inside of the brim ribbon, one or two rows. I think that looks nice too.
Santa brought one to my daughter last Christmas...she likes it but I think I play it more than her. ;)
Another one of those cases of Santa really bringing something he wanted for himself? Hmmm. ;)
Hi gents, where is the best place to get a 19/20" Talon Zipper (with brown tape)? I looked on that auction site and people are selling them in lots, and I don't need a lot (they also don't look like they are brass jacket zippers either). I have a 30's leather civi jacket that the tape ripped on...
There is really no way to know the hat color with any certainty unless the movies was filmed in color or there are publicity photos that were shot in color. That said...your guess is as good as any.:)
