Cards, Notes, Writing Paper & a new Pen

I've been using... ...fountain pens for many years. For some reason, about 15 years ago I became very partial to the ones that you can only fill from a bottle. My main pen is a Aurora Optima. I use it all the time, every day. I take constant notes with it and have hundreds and hundreds...

    A second pair of trousers?

It's a flat fact... ...that the pants wear out faster. In the last 20 plus years of wearing suits, sportcoats, etc., I've observed that pants wear out much faster than jackets. I can't tell you how many suits I've gotten rid of because the pants were worn out and the jacket had a lot of life...

    General Work Leisure Clothes

I guess it depends on... ...who you are talking about. Having "help" was much more common in the Goldern Era. If you were help, or couldn't afford it, I gather that it was pretty common to use worn out clothes for work. I think it was pretty uncommon to buy pure work clothes unless you did...

Dressing dapper while beating the heat

I was wondering... ...how long it would take for someone to get to that. Seersucker is my go to choice for the summer. The full seersucker suit is a bit much for me. I use the jackets as a blazer. I have blue and brown and have been seeking a green. I found one in Brooks Brothers on...
